Recology's San Francisco corporate headquarters features an ambitious environmental graphics installation that transforms their multi-level office space into an immersive branded experience. OrangePiel created large-scale wall murals depicting diverse landscapes including mountain vistas, coastal lighthouses, and residential solar installations, reinforcing the company's environmental mission through powerful visual storytelling.
The installation spans multiple floors and circulation areas, with custom printed graphics strategically positioned along stairwells, corridors, and gathering spaces. Inspirational messaging integrated throughout the space complements the scenic imagery, creating touchpoints that engage employees and visitors as they move through the facility.

Corporate office installations like this one carry a double brief: brand identity and acoustic comfort. OrangePiel specifies NRC 0.85 printed acoustic panels — absorbing 85% of incident sound energy under ASTM C423 — alongside printed roller shades rated NFPA 701 for commercial fire code. At the scale of a Fortune 500 floor plate, printed fabric treatments outperform gypsum-board paint-and-stencil alternatives on both the acoustic axis (typical office reverberation drops from 1.5-2 seconds to below 0.8 seconds, the range the Acoustical Society of America associates with clear speech and video-call intelligibility) and the brand axis (Pantone-matched custom imagery, printed at up to 1440 DPI via dye-sublimation, carries 10+ years of UV fade resistance per AATCC 16.3).
