Pennsylvania Community Hospital

Pennsylvania Community Hospital sought to create a more welcoming and healing environment for patients and staff. OrangePiel was engaged to design and install custom printed window shades throughout the facility, balancing the practical needs of a healthcare setting with aesthetics that promote recovery and well-being.

The project included patient rooms, waiting areas, and administrative offices. Each area received window treatments tailored to its specific requirements—from blackout shades in patient rooms for restful sleep to solar shades in lobbies that maintain views while controlling glare on screens and work surfaces.

Working within strict healthcare facility guidelines, we selected materials that meet fire safety codes and can be easily cleaned and maintained. The printed designs feature calming nature imagery and the hospital's branding, creating a cohesive visual environment that reduces patient anxiety.

Installation was carefully coordinated to minimize disruption to hospital operations, with work completed during off-peak hours and in phases to ensure patient care was never compromised.
