OrangePiel Account Types Overview Use Royalties to Fuel Your Creative Habit

OrangePiel's Artist Collaborative is a place where artists can create and manage an online portfolio, and be paid commissions on all OrangePiel product sales utilizing their artwork.  We want to help provide the dollars necessary to fuel your "Creative Habit."

OrangePiel is born from fine artists, and we want to provide a forum for artists to develop their own artistic identity and, most importantly, get their art into the public web-o-sphere.

Creating an Account:

The first step to showcasing your work and creating custom printed decor - create an account.  You can access your account from top bar.

Your account allows you to upload and manage your private images.  Create decor from a unique family photograph, design a window shade for your child's room, reinvigorate your apartment with a fine art and seamless wallpaper.

Managing Your Account 

With OrangePiel, managing your uploaded work and information is easy.

What you can do:

 With a non-artist account, your images will remain locked. Only you can create custom products with your images.

Uploading Artwork

If you have already uploaded image files into your account, these can be managed with your account.  Use our simple uploader to add works to your gallery.

Creating Custom Products

You can create a custom product in 3 easy steps:

  1. Choose an Image and Product
  2. Choose Your Options
  3. Crop Your Image

Keep Saved Shopping Carts

We recognize that any purchase these days takes consideration.  With your OrangePiel account, your shopping cart is auto-"magically" saved for your return to the store.  Just look for the "Your Cart" icon in the top right, it will even tell you how many items you have in your account with a quick peek.

Becoming an Artist

OrangePiel is only as good as its artists - and we are getting a lot better. 

Artists can easily determine what pieces of work are for private use and which pieces are entered into the public gallery. Upon application to become an artist, OrangePiel must verify your account before becoming active.

We are very excited to help create a forum for this growing community of artists.  OrangePiel believes that artists should be rewarded for their creativity, and it is our goal to make sure that the artists that offer their work for our custom printing are compensated accordingly.

*OrangePiel reserves the right to determine if some images are not fit for library.

Options:

By creating and maintaining your artist account, you are able to take part in the growing community of artists working to create unique artwork.  Additionally, OrangePiel is continually adding more features for artists to showcase their work to the world.  

OrangePiel is about giving artists the voice.  We are not and will never be a stock imagery site.

Adding Work to Library

If you have already uploaded image files into your account, these can be managed with your account.  Use our simple uploader to add works to your gallery.

Manage your Public and Private Images

Many OrangePiel artists utilize our services to create custom on-demand projects for clients.  Sometimes it makes sense for artists to keep images in their gallery only for their use.

Set your permissions with one click.

Editing Artwork Information

You can edit all your image's information by navigating through your gallery, choosing an image, and "Edit".

Edit:

  • Artwork Name - give your image some credit
  • Description of Work - tell us your approach, location, or fun fact
  • Categories (users can search by category)
  • Tags - We monitor tags to see what people are searching for
