An award-winning and nationally published commercial photographer based in Sausalito, California, Robert Bengtson has been transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary for agency, corporate, residential and hospitality clients for over 15 years. His photography business, called The Art of Detail, creates fine-art photography out of details within a space as a means of conveying the essence of that location. Where the Art for a location is Art of the location! Finding images rather than making them, his images create an opportunity to see anew, and in that perspective to connect more intimately with where it is one is standing.
My Style
Robert?s philosophy is the key to his creativity and the foundation behind his inimitable eye for detail. He believes that the key to our self-discovery lies in the details of our lives: the details of our words... the details of our thoughts... the details of our actions... and the details of our feelings. His images are a tribute to this.
