Inside Mount

Outside Mount

  • Mounted inside window frame
  • Creates clean, seamless, built-in design
  • Minimal impact to woodwork and other details
  • Perfect for utilizing window to backlight your custom designed images
  • Perfect alternative if there is not enough depth for inside mount
  • Mounted to wall, ceiling, or molding
  • Often used to make the window appear larger
  • Great for separating spaces

Step 1: Measure the inside width at the top of the window. This is your ordering width. You will enter this dimension into the web application.

Step 1: Measure the width of the area you wish to cover. If space allows we recommend adding 3-4" (1 1/2" - 2" each side) to this measurement to help eliminate light seepage. This is your ordering width and will be the overall measurement - outside bracket to outside bracket.

Step 2: Measure the height at 3 locations - the left side, middle, and right side. Record the largest of the 3 measurements. This is your ordering length.

Step 2: Measure the height of the area you wish to cover. This is your ordering length.

Note:  Shade will be approximately 1 3/8" narrower than your ordering width to allow for brackets.  If concerned over resulting light gap, please select outside mount. Note: Your shade will be made 1 1/4" narrower than the measurement you provide to allow for brackets.  If you need your shade to cover a specific width (ie. mounting on a door) add 1 1/4" to width and this is your ordering width.
