Some of OrangePiel's work

What's in a name?

Many people are interested in the origin of our name, “OrangePiel”.  The name was born during breakfast one morning on a trip around the US.

While eating an orange I realized that, generally, there are two ways to eat an orange, cut it or peel it.  If you cut the orange, by imposing you own conventions upon it, it will “bleed,” dry up, and become inedible at a later time.  If you peel the orange, working with its natural systems, the peel separates without harming the fruit and the orange can be eaten or saved.

What does this have to do with creating atmosphere?  Well, for OrangePiel we like to work with you.  The goal is not to dictate your space, but to work with you and what you have to create something beautiful.    Our products and services are perfect for efficiently (re)inventing an atmosphere without using resource heavy materials and creating headaches and waste.

We are now faced with the realizations that building conventions must begin to change, and we must use our resources more efficiently.
